Often your first awareness of your legal situation will come with a phone call from a police officer inviting you to meet with them for a discussion about your situation. Often the police have invited you to meet in the hope that you might provide information that will assist them in charging you with an offence. This is the best time to seek the advice of one of the lawyers on our team. We can guide you through your contact with the police and ensure that your rights are protected.
Once you have been charged with an offence, you will need to arrange for representation almost immediately so that you are properly defended from the very beginning. This is an ideal time for you to contact one of the lawyers at BOS. We can make most court appearances for you without the necessity of you having to attend. You are free to carry on with your work and usual activities in order to maintain the stability that you want and need during this stressful time.
If you have managed your case alone up until the time of your hearing or trial, and then realize that it is more than you can manage, please contact one of the lawyers on the BOS team. Even at this later point, you will feel confident that we can pick up your case at any stage, and step in and provide a proficient approach to the handling of your case.
